Our rants aren't just mindless, enraged babble about the idiotic things going on in the roleplay community, we also offer advice in our rants. You know what they say, nothing is better left unsaid, so why not let it all out? Feel free to let out opinions in our ask box and topics to rant about. We can answer any roleplay question you have for us, so don't be shy.

This is my opinion. Don’t get your panties in a bunch if you get offended by what you read. It’s not going to affect the very fabric of your existence. Trust me.
Who told you that putting one color over your entire theme was okay? I really want to meet the person who said “oh just put gradient map all over that shit”. Mind you, they’re not the worst thing I have ever come across, but its bad when people hype that shit. I’m serious, I look at reviews where a theme has been rated 10/10 and have monochrome themes and that just doesn’t sit right with me. You might like monochrome, you might enjoy the way they blend together in some unexciting dull color, good for you for having a preference. But let me tell you that monochrome is just saying “Hey I don’t feel like going through the process of actually coming up with a color scheme, so here you go. One color.” That’s what you’re telling me. Do you feel good about that impression? If you do, more power to you and your life, but I’m just saying I find that shit incredibly annoying. What happened to people actually going through each and every color block on their theme until they came up with something beautiful?
I’m not saying I’m a wiz at color schemes, but damn, I can put something together that doesn’t hurt my eyes. And what sucks about monochrome is that its not only really unpleasant to look at (because they are if this rant didn’t wrap it up for you) but they are usually associated with a roleplay that has no sidebar and promotes their roleplay like “hey bitches, lets trade the d for apps”. How about going to an rpc for color scheme help? How about taking reference from themes that you like? There are dozens of color scheme websites out there. Take some inspiration from a picture, a painting, a haze of colors in your head, but please, don’t just hit your theme with one color and say that shits alright. It’s not. You can do better. Or maybe you can’t and that’s sort of okay because there are bad bitches in this rpc community who can help you.
